January 31, 2007         Regions Charity Classic presented by Bruno's

                                     Supermarkets Receives Awards from

                                     Champions Tour

 

(Birmingham, Ala.)-Think Positive, the creative services division for the Bruno Event Team, was awarded several honors from the Champions Tour Tournament Association’s 12th annual Brassie Awards, including first place overall for Best Radio Commercial and Best Community Integration into an Event for the 2006 Regions Charity Classic.  The tournament received runner-up awards for Best Ticket Brochure, Best Outdoor Advertisement and Best Print Advertisement. The Brassie Award winners were announced on December 1, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nev. at the Champions Tour Annual Meetings.

The Brassie Awards program was introduced as a means for recognizing excellence in marketing and promotion of Champions Tour events. A total of 28 tournaments submitted entries for this year’s awards. Rick George, President of the Champions Tour, was the presenter.

Think Positive submitted five items from the 2006 Regions Charity Classic campaign to be judged in the following categories: Outdoor Advertising, Radio Commercial, Television Commercial, Print Advertising and Most Unique Marketing/Promotional Item.

“It’s easy to do great work when you’re working with golf as the subject matter,” said Mark Jamroz, Vice President, Creative Director at Think Positive. “Our staff is honored by this recognition from our peers.”

Our communication and advertising plans were some of our most creative to date and these awards from the Champions Tour reflect our hard work.”
