The Alabama Sports Foundation has hired Bruno Event Team to manage its event activities. Bruno Event Team has served as the event managment firm for the Alabama Sports Foundation since 1996. The Alabama Sports Foundation has a close relationship with the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and has hosted the SEC Baseball Tournament since 1998, as well as five of the recent SEC Gymnastics Championships (2001-2003, 2006, 2011). 

The Foundation played an integral role in relocating the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Office from New Orleans to Birmingham in 1999, and hosted the SWAC Championship Football Game from 1999-2006. The Alabama Sports Foundation also manages the Magic City Classic, which was the most well-attended black college football game in the country in 2008.

In 2011 and 2012, the Alabama Sports Foundation worked with the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the NCAA to host the NCAA  Men's College Cup Soccer National Championship at The Met in Hoover, AL. With a record-setting crowd in attendance, the NCAA announced that they would return to Hoover for the championship in 2012, with the Alabama Sports Foundation managing it again.

Bruno Event Team and the Alabama Sports Foundation signed a partnership agreement with the Alabama High School Athletic Associaton (AHSAA) which includes managing and promoting the AHSAA Super Six Football Championships and the Basketball State Finals Tournament, as well as helping coordinate other AHSAA championship events.

University of Alabama Gameday

   

In 2006, Bruno Event Team was hired by the University of Alabama to assist the University and other Tuscaloosa authorities in developing a Gameday operational plan. Some of the Gameday enhancements include additional public parking, clearly defined traffic routes to and from the stadium, improved public RV lot organization, and enhanced services and activities on the Quad. Additionally, Bruno Event Team spearheaded the creation of the gameday severe weather plan and provided gameday input to the Campus Master Planning committee. Bruno Event Team is also handling gameday operations for the Men's Basketball and Women's Gymnastics athletic events, as well as operations for UA commencements, freshman move-in and national championship celebrations. Bruno Event Team created and currently maintains the University’s official gameday website. Lastly, Bruno Event Team developed gameday's social media presence and utilizes Facebook and Twitter to provide fans with up-to-the-minute information on the best traffic routes, available parking and weather updates.
