March 8 Mid Alabama Corvette Club Annual Car Show - Barber Motorsports Park - Birmingham, AL
Corvettes from all eras will take center stage as an anticipated 150 vehicles will be on display during this one-day car show.
April 18-20 Honda Superbike Classic - Barber Motorsports Park - Birmingham, AL

The premier event at the Barber Motorsports Park!  Come watch the finest in American motorcycle road racing as the AMA Superbike Series and supporting races visit the Park for the 6th consecutive year.  This year will feature an expanded Expo area with several “midway” attractions making it an experience for the entire family.

April 28-May 4 South Georgia Classic - Kinderlou Forest Golf Club - Valdosta, GA
This is a full-field Nationwide Tour Event. The Nationwide Tour makes its second appearance in Valdosta at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club. The Nationwide Tour began in 1990 and sends its Top 20 graduates each season to the PGA TOUR.
May 3-4 WERA Regionals - Barber Motorsports Park - Birmingham, AL

WERA returns to the Park for its second date in 2008 with its regional runoffs.  WERA takes pride in its role as America’s only National organization devoted exclusively to the advancement, operation and sanctioning of motorcycle road racing. Many of the riders who participate at the Honda Superbike Classic also compete in WERA.

May 3 U.S. Women's Soccer - Legion Field - Birmingham, AL

Exhibition soccer match between the U.S. Women’s National Team and Australia. The United States Women’s National team is hosting a series of exhibition games as they make final preparations to compete in the 2008 Beijing Olympics beginning in August.

May 14-18 Regions Charity Classic presented by Bruno's Supermarkets - Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Ross Bridge - Hoover, AL
This 17th annual Champions Tour event features players like Hale Irwin, Jay Haas, Loren Roberts, Tom Kite, Nick Price, Mark O’Meara, Bernhard Langer, Raymond Floyd, Jerry Pate, Brad Bryant, Fred Funk, Ben Crenshaw, Fuzzy Zoeller, John Cook and Hal Sutton. The Regions Charity Classic has donated more than $9.6 million to local charities over its sixteen year history.
March 21 and 23 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship - BJCC Arena - Birmingham, AL
The road to the Final Four begins in Birmingham. First and Second Rounds hosted by the Southeastern Conference will be held at the BJCC.
May 21-25 SEC Baseball Tournament - Regions Park - Hoover, AL
Premier college baseball tournament in the country. The top eight teams in the SEC will compete for the conference tournament title. The 2007 SEC Baseball Tournament drew more than 110,000 fans. The 2008 tournament will mark the 11th consecutive year the Alabama Sports Foundation has hosted the event.
May 26-June 1 Principal Charity Classic presented by Wells Fargo - Glen Oaks Country Club - West Des Moines, IA
This will be the 8th year for this Champions Tour event in Des Moines, IA.  Past champions include Jim Thorpe, Bob Gilder, Don Pooley, D.A. Weibring, Tom Jenkins, Gil Morgan and 2007 defending champion Jay Haas.
June 6-8 National Auto Sport Association - Barber Motorsports Park - Birmingham, AL
The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) was formed in 1991 to deliver high quality motorsports events to enthusiasts at major racing venues throughout the nation. NASA has created programs that allow owners of both racecars and high-performance street-driven vehicles to enjoy the full performance capabilities of their cars in a safe and controlled environment.
June 23-29 U.S. Women's Open - Interlachen Country Club - Minneapolis, MN
This is the largest and most prestigious women's golf event. The field is comprised of 156 of the world's greatest female golfers, including Paula Creamer, Natalie Gulbis, Julie Inkster, Lorena Ochoa, Morgan Pressel, Annika Sorenstam, Karrie Webb and 2007 defending champion Cristie Kerr
July 18-20 Grand American Sports Car Series - Barber Motorsports Park - Birmingham, AL

The 6th annual Grand-Am Rolex Sportscar Series returns to the Barber Motorsports Park, as the exciting Daytona Prototypes share the track with the always competitive GT cars in what is sure to be yet another action filled weekend of sportscar racing.  Also scheduled to appear is Patrick Dempsey from television’s “Grey’s Anatomy”, who will be competing again in the GS class of the Koni Challenge Series.

July 28- August 3 U.S. Senior Open - The Broadmoor - Colorado Springs, CO
This is the largest and most prestigious senior golf event. More than 150,000 spectators are expected to attend the U.S. Senior Open throughout the week. Those expected to compete include Brad Bryant, Ben Crenshaw, Nick Faldo, Raymond Floyd, Fred Funk, Hale Irwin, Tom Kite, Nick Price, Curtis Strange, Tom Watson and Fuzzy Zoeller.
Aug 29-31 SCCA- Barber Motorsports Park - Birmingham, AL

America’s sportscar club returns to the Park for what is sure to be a competitive weekend of grassroots racing at the country’s most scenic road racing venue.

Sept 1- Nov 30 University of Alabama Gameday (Football) - Tuscaloosa, AL
Parking, traffic and other operational aspects for all home football games.
Sept 1-7 BMW Championship - Bellerive Country Club - St. Louis, MO
This event is the third of four PGA TOUR Playoff tournaments and a part of the Fed Ex Cup competition. Seventy players will compete in the Fed Ex Cup Series with the winner of the season long points competition collecting $10 million.
Sept 8-14 Bell Micro LPGA Classic - Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Magnolia Grove - Mobile, AL
LPGA event showcasing a full field of professional LPGA golfers.
Sept 19-21 WERA Nationals - Barber Motorsports Park - Birmingham, AL

WERA takes pride in its role as America’s only National organization devoted exclusively to the advancement, operation and sanctioning of motorcycle road racing. The May date will feature the best of class, as many of the riders who participate at the Honda Superbike Classic also compete in WERA.

Sept 22-28 Navistar LPGA Classic - Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill - Prattville, AL
LPGA event showcasing a full field of professional LPGA golfers.
Oct 17-19 Barber Vintage Festival - Barber Motorsports Park - Birmingham, AL

The Barber Vintage Festival has quickly become the second largest celebration of vintage motorcycles in the U.S.  An event-filled weekend will have a little something for everyone:  Vintage road racing, motocross and time trials, a swap meet featuring over 400 vendors and a motorcycle auction to benefit the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum.

Oct 25 Magic City Classic - Legion Field - Birmingham, AL
This will be the 67th annual game. It is a football game featuring Alabama A&M University and Alabama State University, and it's the longest continuous rivalry in the State of Alabama. It's also the second largest attended Black College Football Classic in the nation and consistently draws an excess of 65,000 fans.
