October 18, 2007        Barber Motorsports Park to Host 3rd Annual

                                      Barber Vintage Festival featuring AHRMA

(Birmingham, Ala.) – The Barber Motorsports Park is pleased to announce that the 3rd Annual Barber Vintage Festival will be held the weekend of October 19-21. The weekend will highlight the American Historic Racing Association (AHRMA) which features vintage motorcycle racing and marks their last race of the 2007 season. This is the second largest vintage motorcycle festival in the U.S. and features a variety of spectator events including a swap meet, flea market, vintage demos, an air show on Saturday and Sunday and a Barber Museum benefit auction.

“We really look forward to seeing this event grow and become the best in the country,” said Jeff Ray, Executive Director of the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. “Being the world’s largest motorcycle museum and home to a world class race track, it is only fitting that we bring the best gathering of vintage motorcycle enthusiasts to Birmingham. Our goal is to have more activities going on during any given day during the event than any one person could take part in.”

Visitors to the Vintage Festival will also have a rare chance to see and hear the exotic motorcycles from the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, which is home to one of the largest vintage and modern motorcycle collections in the world.

Park admission includes all events. Three-day tickets are $30 in advance, $40 at the gate. Single-day tickets for Saturday or Sunday are $20 in advance, $25 at the gate.  Gates open at 7:30 a.m. each day. Children 12 and under admitted free with paying adult. Concessions will be available all weekend.
